Terms and Conditions
All deposits are non-refundable.
Any cash payments are to be paid in FULL upon arrival of the driver, you cannot make part payments; the full amount of cash has to be paid in full on arrival of the driver. All drivers are well within their rights to refuse to move a vehicle without the full cash payment.
All customers are only booked in for whatever details that have been agreed on the above booking confirmation any extra drops off, or any changes in the journey will be charged accordingly by the driver or the VI Coach Hire booking office at the time of the journey.
All bookings are made subject to both the VI Coach Hire terms below and the specific booking conditions of your relevant Travel Supplier (where applicable). It is your responsibility to ensure that you have read, understood and agree both prior to booking.
Delays to Service
No responsibility or liability whatsoever can be accepted by VI Coach Hire for traffic congestion, road accidents, adverse weather conditions or other matters outside its reasonable control which may cause delay. Both parties expressly recognise in transport such as coach hire that vehicles can be late as a normal cause of business without negligence on behalf of the coach hire company (typically due to previous customer delays, traffic, road traffic accidents and mechanical problems). If any driver is delayed by more than 60 minutes with one of our vehicles getting to the passengers and we are unable to replace a delayed vehicle within 1 hour and 30 minutes and the client chooses to make their own alternative travel arrangements they may be entitled to a refund of the deposit paid to VI Coach Hire only.
If for any reason the driver has to reroute the journey due to traffic, adverse weather conditions or any unforeseen reasons and cannot get the passengers to their destination on time, neither the driver or VI Coach Hire will be held liable for any loss incurred for e.g. missed flights, paying extra for alternative transport, missed events or lateness to meetings etc. Also if the vehicle allocated to the journey has a mechanical issue prior to the journey or on the journey and VI Coach Hire cannot find an alternative vehicle, Transport Hub UK will not be held liable for any loss incurred and will not pay out any compensation under any circumstance; at management’s discretion they may allow the deposit to be refunded.
All cancellations must be sent via email to email@example.com; verbal cancellations will not be accepted. If a booking is cancelled in writing by the customer with more than 5 working days left before the date of travel, other than the initial deposit paid by the customer, the customer will have no further costs to pay. If a booking is cancelled by the customer with less than 5 working days’ notice, payment in full will be due to VI Coach Hire and all customer deposits are non-refundable on bookings cancelled by the customer. The deposit is not sufficient to cover any sub sequential losses due to a customer cancellation with 5 working days or less to the date of travel.
Damages and Spillage
Any damage or spillage caused by the passengers will be charged accordingly by the driver at a minimum rate of £25 this also includes soft drinks, water, wine, spirits or any form of liquid. Any fines for misuse, damage or spillages have to be paid in cash to the driver.
Alcohol, Smoking and Use of Drugs
It is illegal to consume alcohol en-route to a sporting event.
Drinking is not permitted unless it has been agreed prior to booking; also it MAY be allowed at drivers discretion but only if the driver has agreed for the passengers to do so. The customer (hirer) should not assume alcohol consumption on board the vehicle is permissible.
All VI Coach Hire vehicles are strictly non-smoking by law, this includes the use of E-cigarettes or alike.
Any use of drugs is strictly prohibited on all vehicles.
Non-compliance with our alcohol, smoking or use of drugs terms and conditions may result in termination of the journey (remainder of the booked journeys) with the full balance for all trip(s) still liable to be paid by the customer.
Extra Drop Offs, Reroute or Extra Hours
Any extra drop offs which are not included on the initial booking will be charged at a minimum of £10-25 per drop at the drivers discretion, any amount charged will have to be paid in cash to the driver. If for any reason the customer requires extra stay by the driver, if the driver can accommodate their requirements, they have to pay £50 per hour minimum charge and an hourly rate of £50 thereafter.
VI Coach Hire can act as an interface between you and various third party suppliers of travel services ("Travel Suppliers") through which you can book the transport you need for your journey. When VI Coach Hire processes your booking the contract will be between you and the Travel Supplier. VI Coach Hire accepts no responsibility or liability for the acts or services provided by Travel Suppliers. Transport Hub UK can act only as an agent in cases where we cannot accommodate your journey in a VI Coach Hire vehicle. Any journeys carried out with VI Coach Hire clients without pre-arrangement through the VI Coach Hire booking office will not be insured or covered under the VI Coach Hire's terms and conditions.
